Fronted by brothers Dick and Dave Pruitt on bass and electric guitars, with Michael Cherry on drums, the Bel Airs play a danceable mix with an authentic but eclectic bluesy-country-soul-and-rock-n-roll sound influenced by the likes of Wilson Picket, Slim Harpo, Howlin' Wolf and Johnny Cash.“He taught us a lot about friendship and all the things you can accomplish as a team.”

Name of Person

Rick Bacus - The Journeyman

The Journeyman is Rick's Eric Clapton Tribute Band.

Rick Bacus has been a working musician for many years in the Kansas City area writing and performing as a solo act as well as with some of KC’s most in demand musicians. One of his earliest bands in the 1960s featured a little-known singer named Sly James (yes mayor of KC Sly James). Rick’s band Morningstar was signed to Columbia records in the late 1970s, producing two albums. In 2012 Morningstar was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall Of Fame.

Dartanyan Brown

Back in the day Dartanyan Brown caught the attention of Bill Chase and joined his group.   Chase was creating a new type of jazz called fusion. A combination of jazz and rock, fusion demanded a bass player who could play complex cascading lines, and keep up with the drummer. Dartanyan was more than up to the task. In 1988 Dartanyan moved to San Francisco where he continued to pursue a musical career as player and producer. In 2016 Dartanyan moved back to Des Moines.   Dartanyan Brown is a member of the Iowa Blues, Jazz and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Hudson Drive

Hudson Drive is a premier country band hailing from Kansas City, Missouri.  They have opened for national touring acts Chase Rice, Maren Morris, Mark Wills, Walker McGuire, Thompson Square, Casey Donahew, Darryl Worley, and have played music festivals alongside Rodney Atkins, Wade Bowen, and more. Featured on Fox 4 Kansas City Morning News, The Big 94.5 Country in Topeka, KS, and 106.5 The Wolf, Hudson Drive is one of the fastest growing bands in the Midwest.

Valentine & The Knights

Mark Valentine is as engaging and talented as a front man can be. On guitar, lead vocals and harmonies, he puts his heart and soul into every show. He has performed over 9,000 times in his career. The band is 5 pc. featuring two lead singers and an amazing horn player.

Valentine & The Knights were the best band we could have possibly picked for our wedding reception. They were incredibly accommodating even with time changes, they helped make our event as many of our guests said, one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to. It sounds cliched, but I can honestly say that Valentine and the Knights had everyone from our 80 year old relatives and loved ones to my 3 year old cousins and even the too-cool-for-school high school kids dancing. My husband and I both agreed the dance floor looked like a scene out of a movie with everybody up and groovin. Thank you for an awesome night Valentine!!!  Hanna H

"The Final Mix Show Band were great.. A perfect fit. Thanks!" Janet Flanigan. Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools.

"The Magnetics were awesome!! Everyone still tells us how awesome the band was at our reception!! I would recommend them to anyone!! Thanks J Todd Music Agency!" John Thomas. July 28, 2012. Mildale Farms.

"The Grand Marquis did a fantastic job performing for our work event. They were very professional and their music had just the perfect mix of 20's/swing. I would recommend them to anyone!" Thanks Jeff! Sarah Clark. Phillip Morris
